I found a handwritten piece of paper in the ‘memory room’ with a list of records on it.  Yes, I said records!!  I’m not sure when it was written or why, but it must have been important to me once.

Is it true, about words?

Secrets are made and broken, by words.

Friends are made and lost, by words.

Partnerships, contracts, deals all are made, by words.

Nations rise against and for each other, because of words.

Men are condemned, by one man’s choice of words.

Cannot it be said, words have power

Over life and death?

If all this is true, should we say nothing?

Can silence rule a Kingdom?

I cannot find this author or poem online, tho I am sure it exists somewhere.  Tonight, I found this hand-written in my 8th grade notebook… along with some very important words.
